Cooking frozen spring rolls in an air fryer is not only incredibly easy but also guarantees irresistibly crispy and perfectly cooked appetizers in no time at all!

Delicious & Crispy Air Fryer Spring Rolls from Frozen

When it comes to finger foods, appetizers, and snacks, spring rolls always hit the spot! But making them in an air fryer takes them to a whole new level of deliciousness. These air-fried spring rolls come out fantastically crispy and bursting with flavor every single time. Trust me, you’ll be craving them right now!

In less than 15 minutes, you can go from freezer to plate, satisfying your hunger with these delectable air fryer spring rolls. It’s no wonder my whole family loves them! As the air fryer warms up, the irresistible aroma of the spring rolls cooking fills the air, making everyone eagerly wait for the mouthwatering bites to come.

Whether you’re enjoying them while watching the game or starting off a delectable Chinese food meal, these spring rolls are the perfect crowd-pleasing appetizers. You can even serve them at parties as cocktail snacks, alongside other easy-to-eat goodies.

That said, get ready for one of the simplest recipes I’ve ever shared. Great taste doesn’t have to be complicated, especially when you’re in a hurry. Your air fryer is your trusty kitchen companion, making cooking a breeze.

But before we dive into the recipe, let’s take a moment to appreciate how awesome your air fryer is. It’s incredibly versatile and cooks food to perfection without the need for excessive oil. That means no greasy results and a lower calorie count. It’s definitely a win-win situation!

What You’ll Need

This recipe is as straightforward as it gets. Besides your air fryer, all you need are frozen spring rolls. Generally, 2 per person is a good portion, but feel free to grab extras if you’re craving more.

You can also pair your spring rolls with a dipping sauce of your choice. Duck sauce, homemade sweet and sour sauce, Thai sweet chili sauce, or hot Chinese mustard are fantastic options. If you prefer simplicity, dipping them in soy sauce is just as tasty!

And if your packet of spring rolls didn’t come with any sauce, it might be time to write a complaint letter! 😊

How to Air Fry Frozen Spring Rolls

Using your air fryer couldn’t be easier! However, for this recipe, I highly recommend preheating your air fryer to achieve that extra crispiness we all love.

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 390ºF (199ºC) for about 5 minutes.
  2. Place the frozen spring rolls in a single layer, ensuring they’re not touching, either in the air fryer basket or on the trays.
  3. Air fry the spring rolls at 390ºF (199ºC) for 4 minutes. Then, flip them over and air fry for an additional 4 minutes. If you prefer extra crispy spring rolls (like I do), cook them for another 2 minutes.
  4. Once cooked, take the spring rolls out of the air fryer and serve them hot with your favorite dipping sauce. Prepare yourself for an explosion of flavors!

Air Fryer Tips: Keep in mind that cooking times may vary depending on your air fryer model. Use my instructions as a guide, but always keep an eye on your food. Also, remember that this recipe doesn’t require any additional oil, so avoid using aerosolized cooking sprays. Instead, follow the recipe’s instructions for oil application.

Storing Cooked Spring Rolls

While it’s quite rare to have any spring rolls left, if you do, wrap them in plastic wrap or foil. Place the wrapped spring rolls in an airtight container and store them in the refrigerator for up to 2-3 days.

Reheating Fried Spring Rolls

To reheat your spring rolls and maintain their crispiness, the best method is to use your air fryer. Follow the same temperatures mentioned earlier in the recipe and heat the spring rolls for 4-5 minutes, or until they’re warmed to your liking.

Alternatively, you can heat a frying pan or skillet over medium-high heat with a light coating of oil. Place the spring rolls in the heated pan in a single layer with spacing between each roll. Turn them as needed and heat until they’re warmed through completely.

Another option is to reheat the cooked spring rolls in the oven at 350ºF (175ºC) for about 10 minutes. If you choose to microwave them, do it in short 30-second increments. However, be aware that using the microwave will result in a loss of the crispy texture.
