When it comes to frozen foods, air fryers are simply the best. Whether you own a Ninja Foodi, Power XL, Gourmia, or Emeril Lagasse, you’ll love how these frozen curly fries turn out crispy and delicious without the need for extra oil. In my testing, I used the Cosori Air Fryer 5.8qt and the Instant Pot Vortex Pro Air Fryer Oven, and I’ll be sharing instructions for both models with you. How Long to Air Fry Frozen Arby’s Curly Fries?
For Arby’s curly fries, the cooking time may vary slightly depending on your air fryer model. In my non-preheated Cosori Air Fryer, they took about 10 minutes, while in my preheated Instant Pot Vortex Pro Oven Air Fryer, they were ready in just 7 minutes. These times are just a guide, so start checking your fries 2 minutes before the stated time and add more time as needed.
How to Make Them in the Instant Pot Vortex Pro Oven
If you’re using the Instant Pot Vortex Pro Oven, follow these steps:
- Preheat the air fryer by selecting the air fry button and setting the temperature to 400°F / 200°C. The preheating process usually takes about 3 to 4 minutes.
- While the oven is preheating, arrange the frozen curly fries on the air fryer rack or tray.
- Slide the tray into the middle rack of the oven and air fry the fries for 7 to 8 minutes.
Storage Instructions
Air fryer curly fries are best when served fresh. Since they come already precooked and frozen, making them in the air fryer is essentially just reheating them. To avoid having leftovers, it’s best to air fry the quantity you need at a time.
Air Fryer Yum’s Pro Tip! Air fryer temperatures may vary depending on the size, make, and model. When trying a recipe for the first time, start with less time, check for doneness, and add more time as needed.
