There’s something about Bali. Ren and I, being from the Philippines, never expected to be enchanted by a tropical destination like Bali. After all, we have over 7,600 islands, some of which are among the most beautiful in the world. But Bali exceeded our expectations.
If you’ve never been to Bali, you’re probably thinking of its sandy beaches. But there’s so much more to Bali than just sand and surf. Within days of our first trip to Bali, we discovered its thriving food and arts scene, beautiful villas with infinity pools, and cultural attractions like Hindu water temples and Balinese dance shows.
But what struck me the most was the vibe. There’s an energy in Bali that’s hard to put into words. When you’re there, you just feel it.
