Smoked Sausage Recipes
Smoked sausage can be served in a multitude of ways.
In the Netherlands we serve smoked sausage with a dinner we call stamp pot. This is a one-pot dinner of cooked mashed potatoes mashed with sauerkraut.
The smoked sausage is then boiled and sliced to be served on top.
Smoked sausage can also be served as a snack again heated in a pot with simmering hot water and then sliced and served with mustard.
But the Air Fryer is such a great way to prepare a smoked sausage. Because in less than 10 minutes your snack is ready to serve.
You can also serve it for breakfast as a substitute for bacon and serve it with some eggs and toast.
You can leave the smoked sausage whole when prepared and cut it half when done to serve it on a sandwich roll like a hotdog but in this case a smoked sausage dog.
