To make air fryer lasagna, you’ll need the following ingredients:
- Italian sausage
- Marinara sauce
- Ricotta cheese
- Egg
- Grated Parmesan cheese
- Garlic powder
- Salt
- Black pepper
- No-boil lasagna noodles

How To Make Air Fryer Lasagna
- In a medium-sized skillet over medium heat, brown the sausages, breaking them up into crumbles. Once there is no pink left, drain any excess fat and stir in the marinara sauce. Set aside.
- In a medium-sized bowl, mix the ricotta cheese, egg, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Set aside.
- Spray an 8x8x2.5-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
- To assemble the lasagna, add 1/4 of the sauce to the bottom of the baking dish. Top with two sheets of lasagna noodles, breaking them up to fit. Add 1/3 of the ricotta mixture on top, smoothing it out over the noodles. Tear two basil leaves and sprinkle them on top. Add 1/4 of the mozzarella cheese. Repeat this process two more times, ending with a top layer of noodles and the remaining sauce. Add the remaining mozzarella cheese on top.
- Preheat your air fryer to 360 degrees F (air fryer setting) for 5 minutes.
- Place the lasagna in the air fryer and cook for 30 minutes. Then, cover the dish with foil and cook for another 20 minutes at 280 degrees F (air fryer setting).
- Let the lasagna stand for about 10 minutes before slicing. Garnish with more Parmesan cheese and chopped fresh basil.
Some Common Questions About This Recipe
Ingredient Notes:
Since I grew up with this recipe, I want to share some suggestions for ingredients and a few of my favorite products:
- Sausage: You can use sweet or hot Italian sausage, depending on your taste preference. You can even make one of each if you’d like to offer a spicier option.
- Marinara sauce: Making your own sauce is great, but if you prefer a store-bought option, some of my favorite jarred brands are Yo Mama’s, Muir Glen Organic Tomato Basil Sauce, and Rao’s Homemade Marinara Sauce.
- No-boil lasagna noodles: Not all brands of no-boil lasagna noodles work well in the air fryer. Some that I recommend are Trader Joe’s No-Boil Lasagna Noodles, Ronzoni Oven-Ready Lasagna Noodles, Gluten-Free No-Boil Lasagna Noodles, and Barilla Oven-Ready Lasagna Pasta.
How To Store and Reheat Any Air Fryer Lasagna Leftovers
If you have any leftover lasagna, it makes for a delicious meal the next day or two. To store the leftovers, let the lasagna cool to room temperature and then place it in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
To reheat the leftovers, you can either use a microwave or an air fryer. For the microwave method, place the lasagna on a microwave-safe plate and heat until warmed up. Adding some marinara sauce over it before reheating will help keep the lasagna moist.
If you choose to reheat the leftover lasagna in the air fryer, place it in the basket and heat it at 250 degrees F for another 10 minutes. Make sure the lasagna is hot before removing it.
